Anna serves as president of the Windchimes and helped found it in 2022. She is a senior at Whitefield Academy. She has played flute for 8 years and is a section leader and the field captain of the Wolfpack Marching Band. Outside of academics and band, Anna runs track and is involved in various service positions at Whitefield including the Honor Council and Peer Mentoring.
Emily has been playing flute for 8 years and has a background in piano. She is vice president of the Windchimes, which she co-founded in 2022. She plays in her church orchestra and is a senior at Whitefield Academy where she plays in concert band and is a teachers' assistant in band classes.
Charles Carmichael is a fifteen year old clarinetist from Smyrna, GA. A tenth grade student at Whitefield Academy, Charles is a fourth-year member of Whitefield Academy's award winning Marching Band and woodwind ensemble. While Charles' primary instrument is the clarinet, he also plays the saxophone and bass clarinet. The last two years, Charles has been selected to perform in the GMEA All-State band in Athens, GA as the sixth chair clarinet. He also plays in Georgia Youth Symphony's clarinet choir under Bora Moon. Charles is a member of the orchestra and youth choir at Smyrna First United Methodist Church. In addition to his musical commitments, Charles plays tennis, serves as a student ambassador, a member of student government, and is a devoted student at Whitefield Academy. Charles was a winner of the 47th annual Ruth Kern Young Artists Concerto Competition and one of two woodwind finalists in Georgia Philharmonic's 2024 Samuel Fordis Young Artists Concerto Competition. Charles began his musical study under Bryant Laursen for 3 years and is currently a student of Barbaraann Bongiovanni.
